Employee engagement

Our view is that engaged employees are those people whose real connection with the company and its goals drives them to perform above and beyond the call of duty. They have a clear line of sight to the strategy and understand how their efforts relate to it. They feel able to participate in and benefit from good, two-way communications. They feel valued and know that they will be rewarded fairly.

Engaged employees benefit from greater job satisfaction, contribute more to the organisation and stay longer. They willingly apply available discretionary effort to the benefit of the organisation. They’re the ones who go the extra mile to help customers and colleagues.

Organisations reap great benefits from committed and enthusiastic people, including increased productivity, greater flexibility, higher customer satisfaction and lower costs.

Yet most surveys report that fewer than 30% of employees feel engaged and, more worryingly, that up to 50% are either partially or completely disengaged. It’s up the organisation’s leaders to demonstrate the vision and inspiration that employees can buy into and make an emotional contract with.

We use a research-led approach to identify the engagement gap and to understand what people need in order to commit and give their all. We then design and implement solutions that create and sustain engagement and deliver benefits to the individual and organisation alike.
