Echelon steps up its online learning offer

Faster access to solutions, reduced prices, free content: all are user benefits to be found at Echelon Learning’s newly-revised site at learningmatters.com/.

Echelon Learning has added some exciting innovations to its ‘learningmatters’ website, which hosts 1,300 downloadable management soft skill modules, and over 700 bite-size chunks of business information licensed exclusively from leading provider, Bloomsbury.

A more advanced search mechanism now allows for more specific ‘topic-within-topic’ searches – resulting in faster and more accurate access.

Prices of many solutions have been reduced to between £2.00 to £5.00 per module - allowing users to buy nearly twice the quantity of solutions for the price paid last year. Echelon account holders enjoy up to an additional 20 per cent bonus and so fare even better.

Usage of the site has grown steadily, year-on-year, since its launch in 2000, says Echelon managing director, David Hill.

“Last year, solutions were downloaded from learningmatters.com/ by individuals based in over 50 countries and covered the complete range of management soft skill topics” he says. “There is significant demand for acquiring just-in-time learning and we are looking to incentivise existing and prospective customers into using the site even further.”

Among these incentives is an extension to the site’s range of free content. A search by one of the six learning formats shown on the homepage facilitates the download of examples of each style of learning, free of charge.
